J. Robert Oppenheimer (J. Robert Oppenheimer, 1904-1967) was an American theoretical physicist and World War II physicist. A key figure in the development of the atomic bomb during World War II. He is often referred to as the "Father of the Atomic Bomb". Oppenheimer was born in New York and showed great academic ability from an early age.
